Das Haus war so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben, schön gelegen, fernab vom Trubel, super ausgestattet (selbst mit total unerwartbaren Küchengeräten). Alles in allem eine klasse Homebase für einen Inselaufenthalt.

Das Haus haben wir so empfunden, wie es auch beschrieben ist - einfach super schön. Es ist sehr geräumig, schön eingerichtet und sauber. Der Blick auf das Meer und gleichzeitig auf der anderen Seite auf Berge und das darunterliegende Tal zu schauen ist einfach umwerfend. Auch die vielen Möglichkeiten zum Essen oder einfach nur zum Entspannen haben es uns sehr angetan. Kurzum : Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden hoffentlich bald mal wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Sanjay was very helpful and accommodating and he even left us some fresh fruit. There are many delicious restaurants and an amazing bakery right down the road in São Vicente. This is a very peaceful place in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We woke up every morning to the sounds of church bells, the chirping of birds, goats and roosters! If you are a nature lover you will not be disappointed! The road to the house is very steep (like all roads in Madeira) but after driving it once it became easy. On our first day Sanjay met us and lead the way to the house which was very helpful. Both Sanjay and Svenja were very warm and friendly, 5 star hosts! I could go on and on but if you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the north side of the island away from the crowds, this place is highly recommended!

They also provided a few basic groceries so we didn’t have to go to the store until the next day. The house and garden have beautiful views of the mountains, the valley and the ocean. We enjoyed meeting Svenja and Sanjay and highly recommend staying with them. We will be back!

On top of that we were greeted with some food so we didnt have to worry about anything just after the arrival and presented with fruits from their garden on occasion. They kept us in the loop and were very kind whenever we needed help or information. The communication was perfect.
The house garden is absolutely stunning. There is a lot of hidden corners where you can chill, be it sun or shade. The photos do not give enough credit for the views, and the house felt cosier as well.

But what impressed us the most is that our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and right at home - they got us some food, as we arrived later in the afternoon, they met us at a cafe nearby to guide us to the location, they gave us fresh fruit from their garden, recommended local places and checked in from time to time to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

This was the best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far and I am grateful for their hospitality and generosity!

The house has a parking space, it’s fairly easy to access and it has 3 bedrooms and one living room with an open space kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It looks exactly like the pictures and the garden is even more beautiful. Highly recommend it!

We loved watching the rainbows and listening to the bells from the church tower across the valley.

The surroundings were peaceful and we especially loved the tropical garden that Svenja has planted, with several secret places to sit and soak up the ambience.

The Casa was well equipped and we were provided with all the essential provisions, so we were able to make a meal on arrival.
The central location ment that we were able to access most spots on the Island within an hour.
We stayed for nine nights but wished we had planned for longer. Definitely recommend Casa Verde and we will be back again.

Voordien al hulp bij het boeken en kon al terecht met vragen. Bij aankomst pikten ze ons op bij de afgesproken plek... read more en reden ons voor naar het huisje. Eenmaal daar was het geweldig. Mooi huis, zeer grote mooie tuin met groente en kruiden. Binnen hadden ze al van alles neergezet aan eten en drinken, echt super. Uitzicht is grandioos. De omgeving is heel rustig. Svenja en Sanjay staan gelijk klaar met tips en lekkers uit eigen tuin. Altijd in voor een leuk gesprek. We hebben nog nooit zo'n geweldige vakantie ervaring gehad.
Het eiland is echt mooi. Er is veel te beleven. Hou er rekening mee dat de binnenwegen zeer steil kunnen zijn, zoals de weg bij het huisje. Al met al geweldig.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und besonders im Bereich der Küche m.E.... read more deutlich besser ausgestattet, als ich es von vielen Unterkünften kenne. So gibt es zB Toaster, Mikrowelle, Ofen, Raclette Grill, French Press, Kapselmaschine und Filtermaschine - also für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.

Handtücher und Küchentücher gibt es auch nicht strikt abgezählt, sondern man kann sich bei Bedarf mehr nehmen.

Die gesamte Unterkunft und insbesondere auch die Betten waren neuwertig und sehr sauber.

Das Haus hat drei Terassen - man kann also immer mit der Sonne wandern. Es gibt einen Hängematten-Sessel sowie Gartenliegen und ganz neu eine Gartendusche. Von der West-Terasse aus hat man einen fantastischen Meerblick.
Der ganze Garten inkl. Weinhang sind sehr schön angelegt. Es gibt Ummengen an Kräutern - alles Bio - und auch einen neuen Grill. Wer in seinem Urlaub also auch gerne selber kocht und grillt, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Svenja und Sanjay haben uns persönlich begrüßt und verabschiedet und standen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Auch waren die beiden im Anschluss sehr an Verbesserungsvorschlägen interessiert. Alles in allem kann ich das Haus von ganzem Herzen empfehlen!
